  1. Building Academic Capacity for Literacy Achievement in Your School or District

    This professional growth opportunity is for collaborative grade level teams who desire to raise student literacy levels in their classrooms. It consists of between 1-5 days of training including an overview of the eight components of a balanced literacy program, an introduction to effective instruction for students at-risk; and in-depth opportunities to acquire reading intervention strategies that meet the needs of struggling students.

  2. Building Leadership Capacity for Literacy Achievement in Your School or District - This professional growth opportunity is for principals, assistant principals, central office administrators, and school literacy leaders who aspire to the principalship. It consists of between 2-5 days of training, depending on the knowledge, skills, and experience levels of participants.

  3. Building Instructional Capacity for Literacy Achievement in Your School or District - This professional growth opportunity is for classroom teachers, literacy coaches Title I and Special Education teachers. It consists of between 2-5 days of training depending on the knowledge skills and experience levels of participants.
