When accountability for achievement is high, all teachers must be as close to peak performers as possible, and all parents must be involved and supportive of their children's educational experience.

The goals of this workshop are (1) to provide principals with creative humane, supportive, timely, and tough ways to deal with teachers who aren't effective and parents who aren't supportive; and (2) to help principals build strong school cultures that energize and motivate all teachers and parents toward the goal of maximizing student learning and achievement. The following titles are valuable companion resources to this presentation: How to Deal with Parents Who Are Angry Troubled Afraid, or Just Plain Crazy and How to Deal with Teachers Who Are Angry, Troubled, Exhausted, or Just Plain Confused.
